GREEN MUTTON CURRY
Ingredients:
1 kg mutton
½ kg onions
1 tsp of cloves
4 sticks of cinnamon each about an inch long
1 ½” piece of ginger
6-8 cloves of garlic
15 green chillies
A handful of coriander leaves
½ tsp turmeric
15 peppercorns
1 tsp khuskhus (poppy seeds)
½ cup coconut milk
Oil
Method:
Chop the onions. Heat oil in a deghchi. Put in the cloves and cinnamon. After a while put in chopped onion and fry to a deep brown
Then put the ground masala and fry for a minute or two. Add the mutton and fry for about five minutes mixing well with masala.
Then, put in salt to taste and sufficient hot water and cook on a slow fire until the meat is tender. Put in half a cup of coconut milk
Bring to a boil and remove curry from the fire and serve with rice.
